academla’s advice

academla:

I just answered an ask about periods/mood swings and it made me realize that I feel like a big sister to many of my studyblrs, and also that many families/communities are not as open about things such as menstruation, sex, and medication as I’m accustomed to. So, I’d like to open my ask box for anybody to ask questions they are too scared/nervous to ask anybody else in their real life, and I can share my opinion and personal experience.

I will not share your URL (unless you want me to). Just message me (in my ask or IM) with your question, and I’ll make a post in response to it, and link you to it once it’s been posted. If I seem to be getting a decent amount, I’ll compile them into one miniature digest. If I seem to be getting a decent and consistent amount, I’ll make a sideblog for this and enable anon on there.

I’d appreciate reblogs simply because I’m surprised I haven’t thought to try to do this before, and I often take for granted the confidence and resources I have. So please, if you have any burning questions you just don’t want to ask out loud, send them my way and I’ll do my best to answer them!
